PINOT GRIGIO, 2008 RIFF (Italy)
The grapes for this wine come from vineyards located in North-eastern Italy at the foot of the Alps. The color is medium straw and you will find hints of peaches in the bouquet. The wine is medium bodied with a lovely elegance that is followed by a full finish. This Pinot Grigio is fermented in stainless steel tanks followed by maturation on its lees to enhance fruit flavors.

SAUVIGNON BLANC 2008, Matual Valley, Marlborough (New Zealand) This is a very imposing Sauvignon with a great herbaceous bouquet and the taste is totally Sauvignon Blanc grape with those wonderful green grass and tropical flavors. Nice fresh, lemony finish.
PRIMITIVO “Piluna” 2007, Castello Monaci (Italy) This Estate Bottled wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes. ( also known as Zinfandel) It has rich, dark color with a bouquet of stewed prunes and herbs. Cherry pits flavors and berries on the palate with a soft finish that hints of licorice. Both wines were priced under $15 the bottle and were purchased from your local wine merchants. |

VOUVRAY,2008 Domaine Sylvain Gaudron (France)
Vouvray is a geographical region in the Loire Valley. The grape is the Chenin Blanc. The wine has a pale straw color with a bouquet of apples and honey. The palate is crisp with flavors of nuts and light spice; the finish has floral edge and slightly tart. Lovely dinner wine.
OLD VINE ZINFANDEL
2007 Bogle Vineyards (California) A deep color announces the concentrated bouquet of berries. The taste is rich with flavors of dark cherries and hints of spice with a full-favor finish. Well balanced with just the right amount American oak which will allow this wine to be a good complement to your meal.

GRUNER VELTLINER 2008, Hugl Weine, Austria |
This Estate Bottled wine has a golden color and a tropical fruit bouquet. It is zesty, full of citrus and lime and mineral flavors and a clean fresh finish. The Gruner Veltliner grape is the most widely planted grape in Austria and can be traced back to Roman times.
MONTEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO 2007, Capestrano, Italy
The color is deep red and the bouquet is rich with plum, black cherry and violet aromas. It is a robust wine that maintains the flavors with a good balance of tannins. Interestingly this wine is aged in stainless steel, not wood.. Montepulciano is a grape grown in Abruzzi, a region in east-central Italy.

CHARDONNAY 2008, Oxford Landing, So. Australia
Light gold color with green tints. Elegant bouquet of melon and citrus. The palate has tropical flavors well balanced with good acidity and a soft presence of wood. Nice clean finish. This wine is ideal for those who do not care for over-oaked chardonnays.
CARMENERE 2007, Root: 1, Chile
The wine has a deep cherry color. The bouquet is an exciting mix of berries and spices with a palate that has gentle tannins and flavors of plum, berries and chocolate. Great finish with - yes - that delicious hint of chocolate! Another plus, a great looking bottle. The Carmenere grape originated from France but is now the signature grape of Chile.

FUME BLANC 2008, Chateau St. Jean, Sonoma (California) Made primarily with the Sauvignon Blanc grape, this Fume has a rich bouquet of melon and citrus. A good balance between forward fruit and fermentation in both French and American oak gives this wine a lush taste and a long finish.
COTES DU RHONE 2007, Prosper Maufoux (France) This lovely wine has a deep cherry color and a lively, fruity bouquet. The 70% of Syrah in the blend gives it generous, floral flavors with hints of raspberries and spices. Cotes du Rhone is a geographical area bordering the Rhone River in the south of France.
