Run by the SPCA of Westchester, Camp Critter offers young animal lovers a unique opportunity to learn all about their favorite creatures—from animal sheltering to cruelty prevention and training. Campers take on projects like baking dog biscuits and feeding them to the shelter dogs using clicker training; helping to socialize puppies and kittens to make them more adoptable; and becoming “animal cops,” reviewing evidence of real animal cruelty cases. The program also includes animal-related arts and crafts and hands-on time with visiting critters from Teatown, the Greenburgh Nature Center, and Wolf Conservation Center.  Ages 6-12.  Six one-week sessions (M-F 1-4pm)
