Come join our children’s (6-14yrs old) choir!
Our objective is to develop a love of choral music through singing and performance. Choir music is great for developing musicianship, but also discipline, teamwork, self-expression, confidence….. The choir sings a varied repertoire of world folk music, including French, Spanish, and English titles (check us out at www.myspace.com/crotonchildrenchoir). A “practice” CD is provided at the start of the trimester to support home learning, and a “performance” CD is provided at the end for great souvenirs.

Nurt A. Villani is the founder and conductor of the Boys and Girls choir of Croton on Hudson. She is a professional conductor with 15 years of experience. She studied in Colombia and France, where she earned the first prize in choir direction of the Conservatoire de Paris. She also teaches music for children.

The Croton-Harmon Adult Education Program offers a variety of educational, cultural, and vocational courses and seminars designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the community it serves.
The school year is divided into two, 10-week terms, Fall and Spring. Catalogues announcing course offerings, dates for registration, and term commencements are mailed to all residents in the 10520 zip code area. Registration is open to adults from other communities as well, at no additional charge.
Senior citizens, who are Croton residents, may attend some classes free of charge if the class in which they register has met minimum enrollment. Senior citizens residing in other communities may be eligible for tuition discounts under the same class enrollment qualifications.
