The Peekskill Playhouse and The BeanRunner (an art and music cafe) are joining artistic forces to create Peekskill's first theatre space for original works by emerging playwrights. It's called, The BeanRunner Cafe Presents: The Peekskill Playhouse - Original Plays on Stage. On the last Sunday of every month, at 4:30PM, dramatic readings will be staged with talk backs with playwright and cast. Twice a year, The Peekskill Playhouse will put on full productions. Tickets are $5 at the door for readings, $15 for full productions. Doors open at 4PM for these special events. Food and drink will be available for purchase twenty minutes before the show. These two organizations are committed to enriching Peekskill as a thriving art mecca in Westchester. It begins on April 25. The BeanRunner is located at 201 S.
