LOCAL SHOPPING BUS  A shopping bus is available twice per week, Tues and Thurs, for those seniors who need to go grocery shopping. The bus takes residents to Shoprite, to the bank, or to the post office. To participate should call the Croton Rec Dept at 271-3006.

SENIOR CITIZEN CLUBS Cortlandt, Nor-Cort and Crompond Club meetings take place at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center on West Brook Dr.  Verplanck Club meets at the Verplanck Schoolhouse, 6th St.  Special trips, information symposiums and socials are all  part of club membership.  To be a member of any of these clubs, you must be a resident of the Town of Cortlandt.

Exercise Class: Mondays 10:30-11:30am, Thursdays              9:45-10:45am, Fridays 10-11am.

Ceramics Class: Mondays 12:30-2:30pm

Senior Citizens Club Croton-on-Hudson Meetings Friday Mornings in the Community Room . Trips to museums, the dinner theater and Atlantic City; Holiday parties; educational and information sessions; driving courses; shopping bus (register for this service through the Croton Caring Committee, Ann Kennedy 271-4979, or the Recreation Department, 271-3006.)

The Peekskill Senior Center offers social, recreational, instructional and civic programs to Peekskill Seniors 60 years of age and older Monday thru Thursday from 9:30am till 3:30pm at the Neighborhood Center, 4 Nelson Avenue.

CROTON SENIOR WALKERS

Dates: Meets each Wednesday throughout the year, weather permitting
Time: 9:30 – 10:30 AM
Location: Meet at the parking area at Croton Landing Park
Fee: FREE, but registration is required
Join other Seniors for a weekly exercise walk, weather permitting, along Croton’s beautiful new park which meanders along the Hudson River. Walk at your own pace and enjoy the company of other Seniors. Benches are available along the walkway for rest periods if needed. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy walking shoes.

Thursday 10:00 a.m.Bingo, Card Games, Lectures and Day Trips are scheduled

              1:00 p.m.Birthday Celebration, last Thursday of the month. All invited.
              1:00 p.m.Business Meeting (1st Thursday of Month).
              All new members are asked to attend.
