The Croton Free Library hosts two presentations designed by Alex’s firm Collegewise for the curious, concerned and college-bound. Students and parents are welcome. Croton Recreation is taking names of kids in grades 8th - 12th interested in signing up for the Snowboard and Ski Club. The club will take 6 chaperoned trips to Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ on Saturdays starting in January. The package (price TBA) will include bus transportation to and from the mountain and a discounted seasons pass, with lessons included, to Mountain Creek. The pass can be used all season long at the mountain. Trips leave from the Municipal Building at 7:00am and return around 4:30pm. Jewelry Beading for Teens Thurs, May 6, 6 pm
Add a hip and beautiful necklace that you make yourself to your spring wardrobe! Teddy Leveille, whose jewelry creations can be found at various boutiques throughout Westchester, will guide you through jewelry beading and design in this workshop just for teens. Registration begins April 22 and a $15 materials fee is due by April 29.

The Croton Teen Theatre is a theatre program which gives opportunities to Westchester teenagers to perform in outstanding productions. Croton Teen Theatre has deep roots in the Croton theatrical scene. it was founded by the Croton Council on the Arts in the late 1980s to continue the tradition of the Croton Shakespeare Festival (CSF), an organization that had been in existance for three decades. CSF had offered lessons in community-building as well as theatre arts. For two decades, Teen Theatre has kept that legacy alive to appreciative reviews. The town of Cortlandt Upper Teen Entertainment Center (The CUE) is a free recreation program for all high school students who reside within the Town of Cortlandt. This program offers a SAFE, SUPERVISED environment for your children who can enjoy a myriad of activities while waiting to be picked up from the Town Center. The CUE is open every Friday and Saturday from 7:30pm-11:30pm and is located in the Cortlandt Town Center Community Room, 3131 East Main St in the rear of the building by the movie theater. |
