Established in 1988, CHOP; Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill, provides food, shelter and guidance for the needy. CHOP operates the Jan Peek House shelter, a 19-bed facility for men and women open 365 days a year; and the Sunny Donut free breakfast program at 117 Nelson Ave., Fred's Food Pantry is at St. Peter's Church - 137 North Division Street will serve more than 200 families weekly.***People can help by facilitating food drives and volunteering at Fred's Pantry.
